Before you start
You need three things: a Polymarket account, the wallet you use to log in to it, and a relayer API key. Browsing the markets needs none of them.
1. A Polymarket account with a Deposit Wallet
Peerkets trades the shares and pUSD that sit in your Polymarket wallet (Polymarket calls it a Deposit Wallet). Nothing needs to be moved anywhere first.
- New Polymarket accounts already use a Deposit Wallet.
- Older accounts (Safe or Proxy wallets) need to be upgraded. Polymarket is moving every account over — open polymarket.com and follow its upgrade prompt. Peerkets shows a message if your account still needs it.
2. The wallet you log in to Polymarket with
Connect the same wallet you use to log in to Polymarket (for example MetaMask, Rabby, or a WalletConnect wallet). Peerkets finds your Polymarket wallet from it automatically.
Email logins
If you log in to Polymarket with an email address, that wallet is managed by Polymarket's login provider and can't be connected to other apps, so Peerkets can't use it yet.
3. A relayer API key
Polymarket wallets can only move funds through Polymarket's relayer. A relayer API key lets Peerkets send the transactions you sign to that relayer — so trades are gas free for you.
Create one: while logged in to Polymarket with the same wallet, go to Polymarket → Settings → Relayer API Keys and create a key.
When Peerkets asks for it: only when you actually act — the first time you post, buy, sell or cancel in a tab. Browsing never needs it.
Your key stays with you
The key is kept in your browser tab only. It is never sent to Peerkets' servers and is forgotten when you close the tab. You can delete it on Polymarket at any time.

No POL or other gas token is needed.
Where Peerkets is available
Peerkets is not available to U.S. persons or in restricted regions. The first time you open the app you'll be asked to confirm this.
