What is Peerkets?

Peerkets is a peer-to-peer layer on top of Polymarket. It lets you trade Polymarket outcome shares directly with other people — at a price you choose, with someone you choose — and settles the trade on-chain in a single transaction.

How it works

  1. Post an offer. Pick a Polymarket market and outcome, choose buy or sell, and set your price. Your shares (if selling) or pUSD (if buying) are locked in the Peerkets escrow contract.
  2. Share the link. Every offer has its own page. Send it to a friend or a group chat, or leave it on the public board. You can also reserve an offer for one specific wallet.
  3. Someone accepts. They send their side, and shares and pUSD swap in the same transaction. Offers can be filled in parts.

You can cancel any time and get the unfilled part straight back.

Why use it

  • No taker fee — Peerkets charges no fees.
  • Trade after a market closes — Polymarket's order book closes before a market resolves; Peerkets keeps working until it actually resolves, including while the result is disputed.
  • Pick your counterparty — settle a bet with a friend, or sell to one specific buyer.
  • Size at one price — move a larger position at a single agreed price instead of walking down the order book.

What Peerkets is not

  • Not Polymarket. Peerkets is independent and not affiliated with Polymarket. Your shares stay in your own Polymarket wallet until you trade them.
  • Not an exchange. Offers are never matched automatically. Each trade happens because one person accepts another person's offer.
  • Not custodial. Peerkets never holds your keys. Funds only sit in the escrow contract while an offer is open, and can only go to you or your counterparty.
